Josh is an artist from St. Catharines. He writes, performs, directs, designs, builds, plays, draws, creates, and dreams just about anything he can. Josh is yet to find an art form that doesn’t excite him, he’s always trying new things, learning, and pushing boundaries. Recently Josh has been writing and performing with Suitcase in Point as a part of their Comedy Cabarets since 2020. He has also been creating a variety of artistic projects of various scales. In 2020 he created a media arts storytelling project called The Forest Of Us, a website filled with many different stories. In 2021 he created a film called Sunny Days Ahead, which was shown as a part of In The Soil, the Hamilton Fringe Festival, and Mighty Niagara Film Festival. In 2023 he built the first draft of Why Don’t We Together, a multi-art storytelling installation. Before that Josh was at Brock University in the Dramatic Arts department. He graduated in 2020 with honours, and a lot of new knowledge. While there he directed short plays, and performed in Love and Information directed by Mike Griffin.
During that time he was also a founder and performer of Big Chicken Improv in St. Catharines, and a performer at the Making Box, an improv company in Guelph. Alongside his theatrical experience, Josh has been developing as a woodworker, creating multiple beautiful pieces.
I’m just a weird guy who’s had lots of opportunities to try lots of different things. I love a challenge, I love an adventure, I believe passionately in love, community, hope, and joy. Find a reason to love someone today. <3
